Who We Are

Belinda Patterson is the founder of Naïve Beauty. She has worked professionally in the beauty industry for the past 12 years, initially as an aesthetician and for the past 7 years as a skincare educator and promoter throughout Australasia and Europe. You may even have seen her face in your local spa or beauty clinic as she has been the face of a well respected International brand for the past 7 years.

From research and development of products to writing technical manuals, Belinda has given countless seminars to thousands of beauty devotees around the world and worked with many celebrities both locally and internationally.

Dealing almost exclusively with the "in salon" professional skincare market, Belinda has extensive experience treating different skin types, with a particular focus on tailoring treatments based on ethnicity and environmental factors.

One thing that was apparent to Belinda from her earliest days in the industry was that while most "in salon" treatments delivered the results they promised, much of the hype around "homecare" products had a lot more to do with their price, than the results they delivered. Belinda found that expensive packaging and flashy ad campaigns have led to an industry that overcharges and under delivers to the consumer.

It was this experience that led Belinda to this next phase of her career. It was her goal to develop a fuss-free brand that would fill this gap in the market, a brand that takes an affordable, honest and simple approach to beauty. For people more interested in the integrity of the product than expensive packaging and ad campaigns.

The name Naïve Beauty was in fact born the first time Belinda discussed the business concept with an international distributor. "Don't be naïve, no one will distribute it... there's no money in 'affordable skincare'". Well, being able to provide skincare that is effective, affordable and simple is fundamental to our culture and we are proud to be Naïve!
